Many never have cholesterol levels tested - UPI

One in six U.S. adults over the age of 20 has never had a cholesterol test, a report by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality found.

Using data from the Agency’s Medical Expenditure Panel Survey in 2005, which collects information each year from a nationally representative sample of U.S. households about healthcare, the AHRQ report found that of the people never tested for cholesterol more than one-third were uninsured between ages 20 to 64....
